Do I need a special app?

No. Hidden Trail Mysteries are prompt-based games made to work with any capable general-use AI. Download the case, add it to your AI, and begin.

Are the mysteries family-friendly?

Yes. Cases are designed for a clean G–PG experience. They avoid gore, horror, sexual content, magic, and occult themes while still allowing realistic, non-graphic investigative details.

Can I choose how challenging the case is?

Yes. Every fixed case supports Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert play. The underlying facts stay locked; the amount of guidance changes.

What if I get stuck—or need to stop?

Ask the mystery host for a hint whenever you need one. You can also say “Let’s pause” and return to your investigation later in the same AI conversation.

Can we play as a group?

Absolutely. Let one person enter the group’s questions and actions while everyone discusses the evidence and agrees on the next move.
